1. General
1.1 Campaign Name: “Ride & Win”
1.2 Organizer: This promotion is organized by Avas App (“Avas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1.3 Campaign Period:
The campaign starts on 10 January 2025 and ends on 10 July 2025 (both dates inclusive).
Avas reserves the right to shorten or extend the campaign period at its discretion, with or without prior notice.
1.4 Daily Prize:
500 MVR awarded each day to one or more driver(s) with the highest number of completed[S-1] rides.
For the purpose of this section, a "completed ride" refers to a ride that has been successfully requested, accepted, and finished by the driver, with the passenger reaching their intended destination. Only rides that meet all platform guidelines and are not flagged for fraud, cancellation, or disputes will be considered in determining the highest number of completed rides.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Who Can Participate:
Open to all active Avas drivers[S-2] who are registered users of the Avas Driver App.
Participants must be aged 18 or above as of the start date of the campaign.
An "active driver" refers to a driver who has a valid and up-to-date registration with the Avas Driver App and has no outstanding violations, suspensions, or restrictions on their driver account.
2.2 Exclusions:
Employees of Avas, affiliated agencies, partners, and their immediate family members (spouse, children, and parents) are not eligible to participate.
Any person who, in Avas’ sole opinion, is involved in any fraudulent or unlawful activity related to Avas’ services or this campaign.
3. How to Participate
3.1 Enrollment:
All active Avas drivers automatically qualify to participate by downloading or updating the Avas Driver App and providing rides during the campaign period.
3.2 Qualifying Rides:
Each legitimately completed ride[S-3] [S-4] during the campaign period counts toward eligibility for the daily prize.
For the purpose of this document, a "legitimate ride" refers to a ride that has been successfully requested, accepted, and completed through the Avas Driver App, with the passenger reaching their intended destination. The ride must comply with all platform guidelines, including proper fare payment and adherence to Avas policies. Rides that are canceled, flagged for fraud, involve misconduct, or violate any terms of service will not be considered legitimate.
Only rides that are successfully and legitimately completed and logged through the Avas Driver App are eligible.
4. Prize Draw & Winner Selection
4.1 Daily Prize — 500 MVR
Winner Determination: Each day, the driver with the highest number of completed rides will be awarded 500 MVR.
Tie-Breaker: In the event of a tie for the most completed rides on a given day, each driver who is tied for first place will receive the full daily prize of 500 MVR.
Daily ride counts are finalized at 11:59 p.m. local time, after which the prize determination process begins.
4.2 Winner Notification:
Winners will be notified via social media and through the contact details provided in their Avas Driver profile.
Notifications will be sent by the following day after the daily ride counts are finalized.
4.3 Prize Fulfillment:
Daily Prize:
500 MVR will be credited to the winning driver’s Avas Driver account (or another specified payout method) within 48 hours after the winner is announced.
Avas may, at its discretion, arrange an alternative delivery method such as mobile money transfer or direct bank deposit.
5. Leaderboard Feature
5.1 Leaderboard Access:
Drivers can view their ride counts and rankings in real-time through the leaderboard feature in the Avas Driver App.
The leaderboard is updated daily to reflect the latest ride completions.
5.2 Transparency and Fair Play:
All ride counts are automatically verified and updated through the Avas Driver App.
Any discrepancies or issues with ride counts must be reported to Avas customer support within 24 hours of noticing the issue.
6. Preventing Misuse
6.1 Anti-Collusion Measures:
Any collaboration between drivers and customers to artificially inflate ride counts is strictly prohibited.
Such actions will result in immediate disqualification for the entire campaign period.
6.2 Multiple Accounts:
The use of multiple Avas Driver accounts or customer accounts by a single individual to increase ride counts is forbidden.
Detection of multiple accounts will lead to disqualification and potential banning from the Avas platform.
6.3 Fraud Detection:
Avas employs sophisticated algorithms and manual reviews to detect unusual ride patterns and prevent fraudulent activities.
● Suspicious entries will be investigated and disqualified if necessary.
6.4 Verification:
All rides must be legitimate and verifiable through the Avas Driver App.
Any evidence of tampering or fraudulent rides will result in disqualification.
In addition to disqualification, Avas reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate the offending driver’s account on the Avas platform and, where appropriate, pursue legal remedies.
7. General Conditions
7.1 Publicity:
By participating, winners agree that Avas may use their name, likeness, photo, voice, and city/province of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation or notification.
7.2 Data Protection:
Any personal data shared during this campaign will be processed in accordance with Avas’ Privacy Policy.
Participants consent to the usage of their personal information for the administration of this promotion and for future marketing initiatives, unless prohibited by law or unless participants opt-out using the channels provided by Avas.
7.3 Liabilities & Indemnities:
Avas shall not be liable for any loss, claim, damage, or injury suffered by participants or third parties as a result of their participation in the promotion, including use of any prizes.
Participants agree to indemnify and hold Avas harmless against any third-party claims arising out of or in connection with this promotion.
7.4 Force Majeure:
Avas shall not be responsible or liable for any delays or losses caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or acts of government.
7.5 Amendments & Cancellation:
Avas reserves the right to alter, suspend, or terminate the campaign (in whole or in part) at any time without prior notice, if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
Avas may update these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be effective from the date they are posted on our official channels.
7.7 Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes, disagreements, or claims arising out of or relating to this Promotion, including its terms, conditions, or interpretation (the “Claims”), shall be exclusively submitted to the DAvocats Chambers LLP (the “Adjudicator”). The decision of the Adjudicator shall be final, binding, and conclusive on all parties. No dispute or claim shall be submitted to any other court of law or judicial or non-judicial authority. By participating in the Promotion, participants expressly waive their right to pursue legal action in any forum outside the Adjudicator.
All claims must be submitted in writing to the Adjudicator within 30 days of the event, giving rise to the dispute, failing to which the claim shall be deemed waived and barred. The contact information of the Adjudicator is stated below:
